iDreamCareer is a career guidance platform helping students navigate education and career decisions through counselling, technology and institutional partnerships. I worked on the project through Story99, redesigning the logo and extending the new identity across brand guidelines, physical applications and the website.

Finding a simpler direction.
The existing identity had several visual ideas competing for attention. The new direction focused on the three letters at the heart of the name: I, D and C.

Five ideas around the same three letters.
I explored different ways of bringing I, D and C together, looking at ideas around direction, aspiration, growth and possibility.
The first direction ended up being the final one.

From a mark to a system.
Once the direction was selected, I extended it into the wider identity and brand guidelines, then explored how it could work across physical touchpoints.

Putting the identity to work.
Once the new mark was approved, I started exploring how the identity could live beyond the screen. From business cards to team apparel, the applications kept the system simple, professional, and recognisable.

Giving each offering its own character.
BlueSpring, PathShila, iDC Council and iDC ONE all speak to different audiences. I used individual gradient directions to give each experience its own character, while keeping the underlying structure familiar across the website. The pages cover school career guidance, social-impact programmes, counsellor training and the iDC ONE platform.

A clearer identity for a growing ecosystem.
A simpler visual identity, a more flexible brand system and a website that could bring several different offerings together without making them feel the same.

Darshan worked as a freelancer with me on a client project we were doing at Story99. It was lovely to work with him. He came up with a bunch of great design options. The scope included redesigning the logo, visual brand identity, and all of that stuff.
Eventually, the proof of the pudding was that the client liked it, and iDreamCareer got a great brand-new design, brand-new colours, and even some visual motifs going beyond just a new logo.
I would recommend Darshan to anyone looking for a talented visual designer or brand identity designer to go ahead and work with him.
